Cedar Brake Park

Monkey bars, my FAVORITE!

This tunnel is the coolest!
That's for little kids, like my brother.

See, there's my brother.
I pretended the volleyball court was a big sandbox.  It was fun.

Cedar Brake Park in Montgomery (900 Eva St) is a serene, small town park with plenty to do.  The playground equipment could use some fixing here & there, but the kids don't seem to mind.  There is a restroom close to the playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, a cool tunnel, 2 separate playgrounds for big kids & little ones, there are plenty of grills & picnic tables & even some porch swings for the adults to relax in.  It is defintely a park worth checking out if you like the serene feelings of small town life!

Meyer Park

There's a little kid playground.
The little kids have their own swings.
 The big kid playground!

Big kid swings!
Look, another playground, with a twisty slide!
Lots of grassy space with picnic tables & benches everywhere.
A little covered area for a shady picnic.
I see lots of turtles!!
 A bird coop?  That's crazy!
We followed a trail & found this nice spot.

Meyer Park in Spring (7700 Cypresswood Dr) is 180 acres of soccer fields, baseball fields, trails, playgrounds, a basketball court, duck pond, & fishing lake.  There are covered picnic areas, a gazebo, & a picnic pavilion (that can be reserved here).  There are restroom facilities & water fountains available.  When it rains a lot, both swing areas & some of the playground area floods.  The park is split in half by Cypresswood Dr, with the playgrounds & ponds on the same side.
